An open forum organized by the Free Media Movement will be held on Monday 28th September 2020 at 3.00 pm at the Sri Lanka Press Institute Auditorium on the occasion of the International Day of Universal Access to Information falling on 28th September.

The discussion will be held under the theme ‘Right to Information Act – Achievements and Challenges’. Attorney-at-Law Ashwini Nateson Weerabahu will present the results of a study conducted on the decisions of the Information Commission. At the same time, there will be a sharing of experiences of three journalists, who are practising the RTI act,  Rahul Samantha Hettiarachchi, S. Sivakumaran and Indunil Usgodaarachchi on reporting using the Information Act.

All those interested in the Information Act are invited to this open forum dialogue, which will be attended by journalists interested in the Information Act.
